Hunter Chamberlin was on the committee that proposed the change reflected in the supreme court opinion, and it has huge implications for criminal defendants. The Court issued its opinion in SC17-2004 that amends Rule 3.220 and addresses the issues raised in the Kidder case. The Court adopted the proposal.
